Regulatory Authorities
Regulatory Authorities: EASA, Transport Canada & Dutch ILT
The success of Conscious Aerospace and HAPSS' hydrogen propulsion systems relies on collaboration with key regulatory authorities to ensure safety, certification, and compliance with international standards.
European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA):
As the primary regulatory authority for aviation safety in Europe, EASA sets the certification standards that govern aircraft operations, including the approval of innovative technologies like hydrogen propulsion systems. Conscious Aerospace and HAPSS work closely with EASA to ensure all systems meet stringent safety, regulatory and environmental requirements.
Transport Canada:
Transport Canada oversees aviation safety and regulatory standards in Canada. Their involvement is critical in certifying hydrogen-powered systems for the Dash 8-300.
Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT):
The ILT, under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, is responsible for ensuring the safety, sustainability, and compliance of aviation technologies in the Netherlands. Conscious Aerospace and HAPSS collaborate with ILT to meet Dutch regulatory standards and promote a sustainable future for aviation.
